MacOS Catalina does not allow 32 bit applications to run. In order to upgrade you will need to find updated or alternative software to meet your business requirements. To see what software on your Mac might be 32 bit you can perform the following steps:

With the 2019 release of macOS Catalina, applications developed with a 32-bit architecture will no longer be supported. Catalina exclusively supports modern 64-bit apps.
Developers of Mac applications have known about the transition to 64-bit apps for several years, and most modern applications have or will be updated to work with Catalina. However, there may be some old or no-longer developed apps thatare 32-bit only.
